Discs2Go - FAQ

Mac software Discs2Go

1. Discs2Go doesn't allow me to add/delete files.  It doesn't allow me to attach software license agreement to disc images.  What's going on?

Are they Read/Write disc images?

2. I dragged and dropped a disc image onto the drop box under Look.  It's a Read/Write disc image.  But I got three red symbols that suggest otherwise.  What's going on?

Before you dragged and dropped a disc image, its disc volume must have been mounted.  That's why Discs2Go failed to read disc image data.  In such case, you need to eject the disc volume and then drag and drop the disc image onto the drop box.

3. I'm trying to attach software license to a disc image.  After I import a disc image and press Go, the progress bar won't show progress at all.  What am I doing wrong?

SLA's Attach will not proceed if you have the disc volume of the selected disc image mounted on the desktop.  In other words, simply abort the process, umounting the disc volume and then click on Go again.

4. I can't find the SLA disc image at Apple's web site.

We've found it at Apple's web site as follows.

  1. Log in Apple's developer web site with your developer's account.  (We don't know if you can get a developer'a account with free of charge.)
  2. Click on Developer Tools under Downloads on the (right) side bar.
  3. Click on SLAs for UDIF 1.0 (Disk Image)
