DVD2Browse reads DVD data, allowing users to import DVDs (discs, disc images, Video_TS folders...) and to organize their DVD collection. When the user drags and drops a DVD on the media drop box, DVD2Browse will automatically scan data to collect movie information like duration, dimensions, aspect ratio and frame rate. If Auto shot is enabled, DVD2Browse can also take a movie snapshot out of the first VOB file (VTS 01_01.VOB or equivalent) unless the DVD data is encrypted. Or turn it off to work with encrypted DVDs.
DVD2Browse does not come with its own video player. Rather, it allows the user to directly pass the selected DVD to a user-defined video player like VLC Media Player and Apple's DVD Player.
