Description:

 

Little Disc+ is a Mac application that handles file archives and disc images comprehensively.  You can convert one disc image format into another with Little Disc+.  Little Disc+ will also allow you to compress folders into file archives or decompress file archives back into folders.  The disc image formats that Little Disc+ can handle include BIN, CDR, DAA, DMG, GBI, IMG, ISO, MDF, NRG, SPARSEBUNDLE, SPARSEIMAGE, TOAST, UIF. The supported file archive formats include 7Z, BZ, BZ2, GZ, RAR, RPM, ZIP, TAR and more.

3.4.0 to 3.4.1 (December 16, 2010)

  1. A set of measures is taken to enhance application's compatibility with Snow Leopard.
  2. 1 new command (Suggestions/Requests) is added to the Help menu.
  3. When the user opens Preferences window, the drawer will automatically close itself provided that it's open in order to avoid possible problems.

 

3.3.3 to 3.4.0 (November 27, 2010)

  1. The user can now use space to make up the volume name for the following: Action > Create Blank Read/Write Disc Image, Batch-Action > Convert Folders into Disc Images, Batch-Action > Create Blank Read/Write Disc Images
  2. Preferences > SLA: The application can automatically find the path to Rez and DeRez when the user set the location of Developer folder (Xcode).
  3. Action > Add Software License Agreement to Disc Image: It's redesigned for easier use. (It's copied from Discs2Go.)
  4. Fix: A measure is taken to stop an occasional crash after the user quits the application.
  5. The application should now be fully compatible with Snow Leopard.
  6. Right-button-click on a folder in the folder list and choose 'Calculate Folder Size,' and the application will calculate the folder size.
  7. Fix: The checkboxes pointed to wrong functions in Preferences > Settings.
  8. Other numerous minor changes and fixes are made.

  1. The controls and methods that are to be deprecated in the future are replaced.
  2. Two separate versions are released: one for Mac OS 10.5 and the other for Mac OS 10.6

  1. This minor update solves some of the problems including an infinite loop problem with 'Add Software License Agreement to Disc Image,' Snow Leopard users may have.

 

3.3.0 to 3.3.1 (to be released on June 22, 2010)

  1. Unpack RAR Parts: Little Disc+ adopts a better way of finding out if the selected file is the first RAR segment, regardless of the file name.
  2. Drop: If the imported file is an RAR part and it's not the first segment, then the application will automatically rejects it.

 

3.2.1 to 3.3.0 (June 20, 2010)

  1. The user can now set the default location of sla.r to create a disc image with a license agreement.
  2. The user can drop any of existing resources under Preferences > SLA.
  3. Fix: The default location of SLAResources pointed to a wrong address field.
  4. Clicking on a new Toolbar button (Drop), the user will get to apply a contextual menu command to an imported file or folder more quickly and easily instead of exploring a very extensive file hierarchy.  Click here for more information.

  1. Fix on 'Create Disc Image or Archive' > 'Creating hybrid disc image': The user is now able to export additional disc images after the first disc image is created.
  2. Fix on 'Converting It into ISO' (right-clicking inside File Browser): The user is now able to export additional disc images after the first disc image is created.

 

3.1.0 to 3.2.0 (May 9, 2010)

  1. Some contextual commands will be put into inaccessible automatically if the selected file or folder that has been right-button clicked on is a volume under File Browser.
  2. A minor fix is done for 'Add Graphic Images to Disc Volume' so that a series of disk volume verifications will be performed after a different disc image is imported.
  3. The user is now able to attach a software license agreement file to the selected disc image.  (See 'Add Software License Agreement to Disc Image' under the Action menu.)  Click here for more information.

  1. Fix: The default folder link actually pointed to the open folder.
