QuickMask

Mac freeware QuickMask

QuickMask is a very simple application that enables the user to import a graphic file with an alpha layer and generate a mask file compressed in JPEG.  It's an ideal application for IDE users who want to save time by quickly generating mask images instead of applying specific effects and choosing the right graphic format.  One can certainly use Apple's Preview to generate the same kind of mask files by manipulating Brightness, Contrast and Exposure under the Adjust Color window.

  • Import formats: PICT, PNG, TIFF
  • Export format: JPEG

QuickMask is currently provided as a freeware title. 'Freeware' doesn't mean you have the right to distribute or redistribute it.  It doesn't mean that we will continue to distribute it as a freeware title for good.  Just because we distribute it as a freeware title, that doesn't mean we found it in the middle of a street one day.  It means that you are allowed to use it provided that certain conditions are met.  You do have the right to disagree with our terms.  In such case, you must stop using our product.  We've spent our hard labor developing it.  And it is we and nobody else who allow you to use it with or without restrictions while it's a freeware title.  If you know you are going to call us a thief after we decide to distribute it as a commercial one, please don't use it.
