We have Flash-based video tutorials and QuickTime-based video tutorials. (QuickTime-based tutorial samples are available here.) Most Flash-based video tutorials contain no audio effects or audio commentary. Some of old QuickTime-based video tutorials contain no audio commentary, either. On the other hand, most recent QuickTime-based video tutorials (since April, 2007) may contain audio commentary. In order to find out whether a specific video tutorial contains audio effects and/or audio commentary, click on its link after entering any of the three categories below and read the blog article introducing that video tutorial. Shown on the sidebar, there are three categories of video tutorials. One is Adobe applications. This category covers video tutorials for such Adobe applications including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Fireworks. Another category is Apple applications, covering OS X 10.4, Apple Motion, Apple iMovie & iDVD, QuickTime, garageband and Final Cut Pro. The third category covers all other applications. All video tutorials are open to members with no restrictions. Some of them are open to guests. Guest access requires an account at MacHouse Forums. Each category page lists available video tutorials. A red star () symbol indicates that a particular video tutorial is open to guests. Note that obtaining a blog/forums account will not make you a member. For more information on how to obtain a member account, please go to Membership page.
